This album takes me back to the old bullet for my Valentine, I've always been a big fan of their light work, but I'm an even bigger fan of their heavy work, and they are just as heavy as ever on tracks like Alone, Your Betrayal, and Pretty On The Outside, as they were on Ashes of The Innocent, No Control, Waking The Demon, Hand of Blood, and The Poison. They've done it again, and they'll do it again on their next album.

This is one of my favorite Bullet For My Valentine releases, My all time favorite song is on this release and that is Hand of Blood, the intro riff is just f***ing amazing, it's fast, it's heavy, and it's got a dark sound to it. For a first release this is definitely proof that they are a truly amazing band.
